第一步：设计图纸

设计雕塑造型首先就是对于雕塑的整体的构想而设计出图纸，然后再依照此图案的样子铸造出此铸铜雕塑。

第 三 步 ：模 具 翻 制

一般来说模具有两种：一种要是不太复杂的，就用石膏翻制。另一种是复杂的就用硅胶翻制。翻制模具是根据作品的复杂程度而决定方案，较为简单的作品可采取石膏翻制，复杂一点的就要用硅胶翻制。

第四步：蜡型灌制

Step 4: wax type irrigation

模具翻制完后再把融化好的石蜡灌到已经制作好的石膏模具或硅胶模具里，等石蜡冷却后拆开模具，蜡型作品就形成了，这一步我们称其为“蜡型灌制“。

第 五 步 ：制 壳

同样，制壳也是采取两种方案，小件或者复杂的我们 是用精致石英砂一层一层把制作好的蜡型包起来、然后再用高温把壳里面 的石 蜡 烧 净。。另一种就是树 脂 砂 箱 制作，砂箱制作一般适用于简单的，平面浮雕，大铜钱，铜佛像的背面，等没有多大工艺的光面。
