In some buildings in Beijing, we can see the existence of copper lions. With the migration and development of history, the decoration of copper lions has gradually faded out of our vision. But beside some classical buildings or some important visiting buildings, you can still see such a lifelike copper lion. So what elements does it have?
Ancient government and large families were the ruling class and noble class of society. Lions occupied the supreme position among all animals. The statue of lions also became the symbol of authority. The lion statue outside the official gate also acted as an "official". The lion on the left side of the palace stands for "Taishi", which is the highest rank in the court; the lion on the right side stands for "Shaobao", which is the guardian of the prince. People who have visited the Palace Museum in Beijing know that there are two bronze lions in front of the Taihe Palace. They are magnificent and beautifully cast.
