现藏于中国历史博物馆的镇馆之宝司母戊鼎，是中国商代晚期的青铜器。在1939年河南安阳殷墟商代晚期墓出土。并在吴家大院埋藏保护了8年，在武官村村民积极努力下，与日寇斗智斗勇、连续转移，才免于被日寇掠夺。直到1946年，司母戊鼎才再次出土，重见天日。

Sima Wuding, the treasure of the Chinese Museum of history, is a bronze ware of the late Shang Dynasty. It was unearthed in the late Shang Dynasty tomb of Yin Ruins in Anyang, Henan Province in 1939. It was buried and protected in Wujia compound for 8 years. With the active efforts of the villagers in Wuguan village, they fought with the Japanese aggressors for wisdom, courage and continuous transfer, so as to avoid being plundered by the Japanese aggressors. It was not until 1946 that Sima Wuding was unearthed again.

司母戊鼎因其腹内壁铸有“司母戊”三字，因此史学家为其命名“司母戊鼎”。现在已重新命名“后母戊鼎”，后母戊是商王武丁妻子中的妇妌（jing）。司母戊鼎呈长方形，它的四面及四足上部装饰有兽面纹。顶部有双耳，外侧装饰有双虎噬人首纹。高133厘米 ， 口长110厘米， 875公斤重 。其中铜的含量占84.77％ ，锡的含量占11.44％ ，铅的含量占2.76％，其它物质含量占0.9％ 。 司母戊鼎是世界上已发现的古代体形最大和重量最大的青铜器，这充分反映出商代青铜铸造已具有相当高的水准。而商王武丁的妻子之一妇妌也因为这司母戊鼎，在中国历史上永远留下了自己的名字。

Sima Wuding was named "Sima Wuding" by historians because of the three words "Sima Wuding" cast on the inner wall of Sima Wuding. Now it has been renamed "empress Wuding". Empress Wuding is the wife of King Wuding of Shang Dynasty. Sima Wu Ding is a rectangle, and its four sides and upper part of four feet are decorated with animal face patterns. There are two ears on the top and two tiger eating human head on the outside. Height 133 cm, mouth length 110 cm, 875 kg. The contents of copper, tin, lead and other substances are 84.77%, 11.44%, 2.76% and 0.9%, respectively. Si Mu Wu Ding is the largest and heaviest bronze ware in the world, which fully reflects the high level of bronze casting in Shang Dynasty. One of the wives of Wu Ding, king of Shang, also left her name forever in Chinese history because of this si Mu Wu Ding.
