中国历史上重要的铜雕艺术品有西周的“伯矩”鬲，晚商的“司母戊”鼎以及汉代的“马踏飞燕”。

In the history of China, the most important bronze sculptures are Boju in the Western Zhou Dynasty, Simuwu Ding in the late Shang Dynasty and horse stepping on swallow in the Han Dynasty.

人类最早使用铸造金属的记载已经模糊不清了，但我们可以这样推测：早期的狩猎者们围坐在火边，一块铜块落进了煤炭里，铜块熔化并流淌，像一股闪光的小溪流，一旦冷却，这个闪光的重物体就变得很硬，形成了新的形状。

The record of the earliest use of cast metal by human beings is unclear, but we can speculate that the early hunters sat around the fire, a piece of copper fell into the coal, the copper melted and flowed, like a flash stream. Once cooled, the flash weight became very hard, forming a new shape.

It's likely that early people saw this happening again and again, and then they looked for and collected copper pieces, threw them into the fire, and watched the flashing streams flow out. Some people imagine and make a shape on the sand, let the metal flow in, maybe it becomes a spear point. Since then, metal casting has taken decades to 2018.

青铜雕公元前4000到3000年间，发生了一个小小的奇迹，没有证据表明这个奇迹发生的确切时间和地点，以及它是怎样发生的。但是一些人又发现-抑或偶然-把一些稍有不同的闪光金属或锡熔进闪光的铜中，这种混合物就变得更坚硬。伴随着这个发现，青铜时代便开始了。

Between 4000 and 3000 B.C., a small miracle happened in bronze carving. There is no evidence to show the exact time and place of the miracle and how it happened. But some have found - or by accident - that the mixture becomes harder by melting slightly different metals or tin into the shiny copper. With this discovery, the Bronze Age began.
